The food was cooked, paid for and carried to your building. We
cannot resell it and we cannot keep it overnight, so the cost has
already been incurred whether or not anyone comes down.
We leave your bento at the pickup point. When we
pack up, anything uncollected stays where the collection was — we
do not take it away with us. You’ll get an email telling you so,
with a photo of where we left it, so you can still come down and
get your food.
Once it has been left there it is no longer in our care.
It is not stored, refrigerated or watched over, and we cannot be
responsible for it after we have gone — including if someone else
takes it. The sooner you collect it, the better it will be.
We would much rather you got your food while we are still there. If
you know in advance that you cannot make it, message us
before the collection window and we will do what we can —
hold it a little longer, meet you at a different door, hand it to a
flatmate.
Refunds outside this are entirely at our discretion, and we do
sometimes give them. That is a kindness, not a right — and asking
for one is never held against you.
